However, it was a page discreetly hosted on the Common Front website on December 31 that seemed to have spilled the beans, after being spotted by Internet users on Wednesday morning, because it had been recorded on Google servers.

The bodies of the various unions began meeting on Wednesday to study the proposed regulation and decide on the next course of action. General meetings are anticipated in the coming weeks, during which workers will have the last word.

At the beginning of December, the Common Front rejected an overall offer of 16.7%, compared to 14.8% previously, deeming it insufficient to cover inflation.
