In the United Kingdom, the new 50 pence coins (just over 50 cents) bearing the image of King Charles III are highly anticipated. Their production has started and they should be put into circulation before the end of the year. Almost 10 million pieces must be produced, to gradually replace those where Queen Elizabeth II is represented.
