It’s hard to imagine the stress and pressure Tiana must have felt on October 15, 2022 during her first visit to the star Academy. At just 18 years old, the pretty young woman from Seine-et-Marne took her first steps as a singer on the set of TF1. A few seconds before her performance, the production first presented some images of the young girl with her family, obviously very proud of her little protege.
In tears in front of the faces of her parents, the pretty Tiana tries to come to her senses when she gets up to go and interpret her title in front of the viewers. “I will install you like the big stars…” Nikos Aliagas gently whispers to him, protective with the young girl. “I’m super excited” Tiana confides, her voice shaking. “Transform this emotion into strength, transform this emotion into gratitude towards the people who are there and watching you tonight…“The host then advises him.
She has crazy potential!
This time, there it is. Tiana is alone and the first notes of the title Until the end of Imen Es and Amel Bent starts. Surprisingly, the young woman sings like a true professional and does not let go of any wrong note despite the stress and anxiety of this first television appearance and all eyes fixed on her. Overwhelmed by the emotion and by the lyrics that evoke her own journey to become a star, the young woman finally has a short moment of absence at the end of the song and forgets a few lyrics. But like a pro, she ultimately chases the title as if nothing had happened.
At the end of the show, Nikos Aliagas joins Tiana, who seems a little embarrassed to have forgotten a few words of her song. Very benevolent as always, Tina Grigoriou’s husband tells the jury: “Her name is Tiana, she is 18 years old, she has never taken a singing lesson in her life, she has crazy potential! She has a little sentence that is gone, but it doesn’t matter, the energy was there!“.
“Well done Tiana, beautiful! At only 18 years old, we can congratulate her!” says singing coach Adeline Toniutti, already won over by her student. As a reminder, the Star Academy school run by Michael Goldman, the son of Jean-Jacques Goldman, will include seven new teachers this year: expression courses stage will be taught by Laure Balon, theater will be taught by Pierre de Brauer, sport will be entrusted to Joël Bouraïma and this year, students will also have the chance to have yoga classes with Aria Crescendo.
