Panic spread among the teams of several French ministries on Sunday March 10 and Monday March 11. The Prime Minister’s office has since assured that their impact has been reduced and access to state websites restored. On Telegram, several hacker groups claimed responsibility for these attacks, including: Anonymous Sudan, a supporter of Russia and several Islamist causes. These attacks did not allow the thugs to steal data, but simply to paralyze the systems. Matignon indicated that a crisis unit was activated to deploy countermeasures.
