The parents of little Grégory obtained from the courts, Wednesday March 20, a new series of expert opinions concerning the death of their child in 1984. They relate in particular to DNA comparisons.

Jean-Marie and Christine Villemin have fought tirelessly since 1984 to find out the truth about the death of their son Grégory. On Wednesday March 20, they obtained a new series of expert opinions from the courts. Now the technology, which uses artificial intelligence, could make it possible to identify unknown DNA. This is mixed DNA, found in particular on the cords, the child’s anorak, and letters sent by the crow(s).

Identifying crows

These new analyzes will be compared with the DNA of half a dozen relatives of the Villemin family, and of Bernard Laroche, suspected at the start of the investigation of having killed the child. These in-depth analyzes will be carried out by gendarmerie experts. Last element: identify the crows. A voice was recorded on a cassette. Processed by artificial intelligence, it could be recognized. A request for feasibility of the expertise was accepted.
