Lviv, the big city in western Ukraine, was bombed in the morning of Monday April 18. Several missiles targeted military infrastructure and a garage, killing at least seven people and injuring 11. The city had been relatively spared since the beginning of the war.
On the morning of Monday, April 18, Russian missiles fell on the city of Lviv (Ukraine)in the west of the country. In total, the Russians carried out four bombardments on military installations near the city center. A car garage was also targeted. “Our windows were smashed, everyone was scared”testifies a resident.
It is difficult to know which were the targets of the bombardments. The Russians claim to have destroyed an important weapons depot. Lviv, located close to the Polish border, had never experienced such strikes. There had been one on a military base about forty kilometers from the city, on March 13, which had killed 35 people. But since then, this region has been relatively spared. With today’s bombardments, concern is reborn. During the April 18 shelling, at least seven people died and eleven were injured.
