Isabelle Boulay separated from a famous comedian: three years of very discreet love

Very reserved about her love life, Isabelle Boulay lived a passionate love affair with a Canadian actor and humorist known for having played with Alexandra Lamy in the musical Modern Love or for having co-animated the Festival Just for Laughs alongside Franck Dubosc in 2002: Stéphane Rousseau. In love with the singer from 2000 to 2003, the couple never appeared together and preferred to keep their relationship secret for fear of spoiling their story. In 2003, the couple finally separated on good terms.

The actor and the interpreter of the title Talk to me then decided to remain friends. A year after their breakup, Stéphane Rousseau and Isabelle Boulay even hosted (without any animosity towards each other) the show a christmas in canada in the company of many stars including Zazie, Françoise Hardy, Julie Zenatti, Renaud, Johnny Hallyday, Eddy Mitchell, Henri Salvador, Corneille, Nicola Ciccone, Bernard Lavilliers and Laurence Jalbert (see slideshow). Accomplices, the former couple had thus succeeded in the (rather rare) bet of transforming their love into friendship and had thus proven to the whole world that it was possible to remain friends with an ex. A magnificent feat!

After their breakup, Isabelle Boulay was in a relationship with her producer Marc-André Chicoine with whom she had a son named Marcus (born in October 2008). Unfortunately, the parents of the little boy had separated in 2010. Since April 2016, Isabelle Boulay shares the life of the lawyer Éric Dupond-Moretti, appointed Minister of Justice in the government of Emmanuel Macron. Recently, Paris Match revealed that the lovers had actually met through mutual friends.

For his part, Stéphane Rousseau has found love again with the dancer Maud Saint-Germain. They had a son born in 2008. The couple separated shortly after the birth of their child. Subsequently, Stéphane Rousseau had a romantic relationship with the French actress, director and screenwriter of Tunisian-Italian origin Reem Kherici from 2010 to 2014.
