The Covid-19 pandemic will therefore never stop claiming victims. On January 22, 2022, the actor Christian Cabrera died from the virus. Aged 40, he had developed, in addition to painful respiratory problems, pneumonia. Although he never took a position against vaccination, he had refused to receive any dose… and bitterly regretted his choice, as he explained by text message to his brother two days before disappearing.
According to Jino, the brother of Christian Cabrera, the latter said to himself “skeptical” in the face of such sudden scientific advances. “I can not breathewould have explained to him the actor. I really regret not getting vaccinated.. If I could start all over again, I would do it immediately to make sure I was safe. I am fighting for my life and I would have liked to be vaccinated.” Christian Cabrera does not leave only Jino behind him. His companion and s3-year-old son, a boy named Noelalso mourn his passing.

Before pushing his last breath with difficulty, Christian Cabrera had shared a selfie from his hospital bed, located in California, where he was already receiving help to breathe. “I’ve been here for a weekhe wrote. Both my lungs are infected. It’s the worst pain I’ve felt in my entire life. Thank you for your love, support and prayers. I can hear them in my sleep! Thank you, and hope to see you again soon” This last wish has unfortunately never been realized. Today, his brother launched an online kitty for his widow and son to receive some financial assistance. The family has already received 390 donations, or $29,962.
