An outage affects subscribers to the SFR and Bouygues Télécom mobile network

Many SFR and Bouygues Télécom subscribers reported network outages on social media on Friday, March 17. The specialized site Downdetector has also reported a peak in reports of disturbances. These reports concern mobile telephony and come from various cities: Paris, Lyon, Lille, Marseille and Bordeaux. In response, SFR asserted on Twitter only one “hardware failure concerning a radio site was the cause of the disruption. “Our technicians are doing their best to resolve the incident”the operator wrote again.

For its part, Bouygues has explained sooner suffer an incident “national” and that the difficulties of its own subscribers focused on the areas where it uses the SFR network, suggesting that the two incidents were linked.
