A young underage woman and her companion were indicted for “attempted murder” on the latter’s father, in Édon (Charente), learned France Bleu La Rochelle this Wednesday, from the Angoulême prosecutor’s office. The facts date back to July 27.
Arrested Monday, August 22, the two alleged perpetrators of the attack were presented to an investigating judge on Wednesday. They admitted having hit the victim with a hammer and having premeditated their act, specifies France Bleu. They were remanded in custody.
The septuagenarian had been assaulted at his home. Suffering from numerous wounds and fractures in the face and on the skull, as well as a cranial trauma, he is still hospitalized.
