After a first event album in 2019 whose sales are now reaching 500,000 copies, the conductor, arranger, producer and pianist, Yvan Cassar who had not imagined touching the hearts of the public at this point with this tribute to Johnny Hallyday, extends his work on this repertoire with the new album “Johnny Acte II” released in September 2021. These two albums will allow all those who love them to find all these songs on stage in this shared emotion.
While everyone was waiting for this new album, a crazy idea gradually became evident: we must concert these exceptional recordings of the voice of Johnny Hallyday with all their energy, their sincerity, their power, accompanied by the scale of a large orchestra.
Yvan Cassar sets out to build a show like Johnny did not have time to make a living from. It will be the “Johnny Symphonique Tour: the voice of Hallyday”, a symphony orchestra and a choir under the direction of Yvan Cassar, for a series of concerts with the same ambitious dimensions as the orchestrations once requested by the singer from his “Mozart”, as he nicknamed him.
Absolute loyalty to the will and tastes of the artist, musical and ethical rigor, splendor of the scenography: from May 2022 in about twenty french cities, in Brussels and Geneva, a unique experience to find Johnny in the incredible truth of his voice picked up on stage, with the classic arrangements he had dreamed of. The new album also exists in Christmas boxes : one in CD format with the two acts and the second vinyl format with a circulation of 5000 copies.
