Quebecers will have to take advantage of the fine summer weather this weekend, before having to reconnect with winter clothes next week due to a contrast that will drastically drop the mercury.
The mercury was able to reach peaks on Thursday, especially in Montreal and Gatineau, which broke the record dating from 1945 with 27.9 degrees and 29 degrees respectively.
The beautiful sunny weather will therefore continue until the weekend almost everywhere in Quebec with temperatures still above normal for the season.
Thus, Saturday it will be for example 22 degrees in the south of the province, in particular in Montreal and in Outaouais, even more in Estrie, according to the forecasts of Environment Canada.
In the center of the province, even if the sun will be there, the mercury will not go crazy, since the maximum temperatures will not exceed 13 degrees, anticipates the federal agency.
The same scenario is also expected in areas of eastern Quebec, however, with temporary clouds in places and lower temperatures, particularly on the North Shore.
But as of Tuesday, a depression will bring windy and gloomy weather with showers and cooler temperatures accompanied by wind chill.
