Valérie Trierweiler finds her attractive son Léonard in New York

A special trip for a special day, that’s how to sum up the day of Valérie Trierweiler who went to meet her son, now a New Yorker, for his birthday. The mother and her son appeared all smiles on social networks on the occasion of Leonardo’s 25th birthday, the fruit of Valérie’s union with the philosopher Denis Trierweiler.

It was a meeting that must have delighted the former first lady of France (or almost) as she had complained about her absence during the period of the pandemic when she could not fly. On the pictures we were able to discover the duo for a selfie in the streets of New York. Leonard, who is a cook in the famous restaurant by Eric Ripert and Eric GestelLe Bernardin, wore a newsboy cap – of which he is obviously a fan since he was already wearing one in an evening in tribute to the series Peaky Blinders– when he posed with his mother in front of an American flag and brick facades typical of the “Big Apple”. Real postcard decor!

Valérie and Léonard were accompanied by Jennifer, the American companion of the young man of 25 years. The trio treated themselves to a glass of champagne to celebrate the occasion. The 57-year-old journalist also thanked the Braconnier champagne house in the comments for her particular cuvée. Finally, on this presidential election Sunday, Valérie was exemplary in stating that she had indeed made the famous power of attorney allowing her to participate in the political life of the country, even from a distance. “For nothing in the world, I would not have missed Léonard Trierweiler’s 25th birthday! Happy birthday my son. what a pleasure to find him with Jenny. Thank you Champagne Braconnier for the special vintage! (power of attorney made of course!)” could we read in the caption.
