Valérie Benaïm singled out after remarks on family allowances

For a few hours, the photo of a sheet of allowances has been agitating the web. This sheet showing the benefits paid to a family of ten children indeed displays an amount of €5,789, which for some Internet users seems disproportionate. “Generous allowances transferred from the pockets of those who work from morning to evening to those of those who are at home and unemployed” can we read for example. Very quickly the debate on the amount of social aid allocated to large families was revived even though Fabien Roussel asked that measures be taken on these famous allowances.

This Wednesday, September 14, 2022, the subject was discussed on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste”. If Gilles Verdez and Guillaume Genton defended this family whose parents are unemployed, the other columnists were offended by the amount of aid paid.

Valérie Benaïm singled out after talking about “birth control”
“It’s quite an honor that there are APLs, it’s quite an honor that there are all these aids, we don’t question that, just me, I think that we have to put a ceiling for say ‘be careful beyond four children you will not have more!’ chanted Valérie Benaïm before adding: “You have to have children in conscience. We help but beyond three or four or five children, we stop”.
Something to annoy Gilles Verdez who took over the floor: “What I’m hearing is outrageous, what you’re saying is ‘poor bastards!’ “. Cyril Hanouna then calmed things down by saying: “No, what you’re saying is disgusting, it sucks because that’s not what they said at all”.

On social networks, viewers have expressed their anger at the harshness of the words of Valérie Benaïm who spoke of a certain birth control.
