Tiffany (Married at first sight), her daughter in the hospital and on morphine: a medical error narrowly avoided

Since participating in Married at first sight in 2016, the life of Tiffany has changed a lot. If she did not end up with Thomas despite their compatibilities, she found love with another candidate of the program, Justin. Together they had two daughters, Romy (4 years old) and Zélie (3 years old). Tiffany lives a tidy daily life with her tribe, but sometimes she does not escape some worrying twists and turns.

This Thursday, June 30, 2022 precisely, the pretty brunette said to have spent a “grueling day and night” with her daughter Romy. The latter encountered a sudden health problem which led her to the hospital. “Big scare. She had 40 fever, writhing in pain like I’ve never seen. Suddenly, emergencies in Pontoise“, Tiffany explained. Once taken care of, Romy was subjected to a battery of examinations and even had to take very strong medication to relieve her pain. “After putting her on morphine, blood test, echo etc. They tell us that it is appendicitis and that it must be operated on urgently. Suddenly, transfer in the night to the Necker hospital“, she continued.

The announcement of an emergency operation was then necessarily terrifying for Tiffany but above all, it was a big mistake. Indeed, when she arrived at the Children’s Hospital in Paris, she received a second medical opinion which changed everything. “We saw the surgeon who pushed the examinations before operating on him (because for him appendicitis did not give 40 degrees of fever) and finally, they’re glands on his appendix. So it doesn’t work“, she said.

She suffered a lot

At the end of the day, the news was then rather reassuring. “We got home at 7 a.m. suddenly this morning and there, she is resting after all this misery. She was more than brave, she really impressed me! Children have a strength that cannot be imagined. She suffered a lot but today she is fine. She is even proud to say that she had magic injections and took an ambulance with pink lights. Me, I’m a little ‘stunned’ by this night out of time but relieved.“Tiffany concluded her message with a thought for parents who are not blessed with healthy children.”I lived the horror this night, but for some it is daily“, she realized with empathy.
