“Mirror, Mirror”: Body Image 101

Growing up in the public eye is not easy. Actress Alice Morel-Michaud, who has played roles on screen since the age of 5, knows something about this. “My image never belonged to me,” notes the twenty-year-old in the podcast Mirror, mirror. During six fun and educational episodes, it explores the perception of the body in our society. Beauty standards, gym culture, cosmetic surgery: she tactfully addresses delicate subjects, while giving a voice to teenagers and experts. We bet that this work intended for young people will also pique the curiosity of older people. On Radio-Canada OHdio.
