Angèle, for her first steps on the big screen and in a major production, posed alongside an audience of stars like Guillaume Canet, Marion Cotillard or Vincent Cassel. After the immense success of her first two albums, it must be said that the Belgian has become a superstar that everyone is raving about, like the house of Chanel, which makes her one of its muses.
Invited to talk about a singing career on M Radio, the interpreter of “Bruxelles, je t’aime” nevertheless cooled her fans by talking about her future in song. “”Nonante-five” is only a year old and, in the end, I think I’m going to need a real moment of reflection for the third album,” she explained. “For a third album, I think I’m going to need to experience things and maybe get inspiration elsewhere“, she clarified.
Angèle needs a break
Perhaps in order to reinvent herself, Angèle confided that she “desire to travel, to collaborate with other people“.”I don’t necessarily want to take a break and retire, because I realize that I said that a lot back then and I didn’t feel like it. I think I like to do projects and I like to continue to be stimulated by this job, and not necessarily go to the beach for a year alone to write. But I’m gonna need to not consider this album right away“, she confided.
Not sure, therefore, to see the Belgian again in the charts anytime soon, or at least not in the same form. “I don’t plan on a third album, which will be a kind of continuity, but I want to come back to things that are a little more jazzy like I did before. I have a lot of desires that can happen before bringing a third album which, for me, will be a challenge. I’m going to have to do other things artistically to feed myself“, she explained.
