There’s joy in Alençon.

“Y’a d’la joie” is the new musical from the Norman company Trabucco, which has the particularity of creating shows from original stories, embellished with great musical successes.

The story of this show takes place in June 1944 in Paris, during the troubled period of the German occupation. In a clandestine café, locals, resistance fighters and a wechmart agent will meet, with even a love story. An atmosphere halfway between the 7th Company and the Grande Vadrouille.

The choice was made to resume successes that go from the 60s to the 2000s and not those of the time. But, Charles Trenet’s “Y ‘a d’la joie” will be offered in a very surprising version!
