In March 2021 appeared Our houses. Finally the first full album, we wrote. Telling us: can’t wait for the next one. Here it is. That of a certain confidence, enough to undertake the exploration from within. Freediving in the words that we think without saying them to the other (The one you loved, How to love you again), in-depth examination of the one who, “diaphanous”, slipped away quietly (Origami, words of Stéphanie Boulay), doubts of the one who wonders “how do we continue after the descent / Of the ladder that scales our bellies”. In what Belle Grand Fille calls her “inner forest, a place of fear and beauty”, the music lingers without invading, arranged with art and finesse, but not without richness: the musicians are numerous, each in their best place. The voice is always soft, but not without relief: we hear the little girl who “scratches the door of Grandpa’s tank” as much as the girl who has grown up and is beautiful and who is “afraid of dying too quickly”.
