End clap for Ligue 1 2023-2024. The 18 teams competed on the 34th and final day of the championship, Sunday May 19. Brest, with its victory in Toulouse, stole third place in the championship from Lille, neutralized at home (2-2) against Nice. The Finisterians will go directly to the Champions League, unlike the Northerners, forced into a play-off round and a preliminary round.

Concerning the other European folding seats, Nice (5th) was already guaranteed to play the Europa League. To accompany the Aiglons, the Lyon returnees, who brought down Strasbourg with difficulty (2-1), the bar repelling an Alsatian penalty. Lens wasted against Montpellier (2-2) and will have to settle for the Europa League conference.

At the bottom of the table, Lorient came very close to the feat (5-0 against Clermont) but is relegated to Ligue 2, with the Auvergnats. Sixteenth, FC Metz will compete in the play-offs. Relive the live multiplex.
