77 military from Mérignac air base 106 will parade on the Champs-Elysées this Thursday morning (around 10:00 am according to the official timetable). They were selected to represent the Air Force troops.
It has been 14 years since the BA 106 received this honor. The base celebrates its 85th anniversary this year. and its commander, Colonel Ludovic Louriou, suggested to the General Staff to include its base in the parade. Last April he was given the green light and his troops have been training for the event ever since.
