At the Seine Musicale, Louis Chedid will reinterpret his hits, simply accompanied by the renowned pianist Yvan Cassar, on November 30th.

After 50 years of career, the singer says he never imagined that the success would last so long. When we were on the starting line with Souchon, Jonasz, we thought we were going to make an album, two, maybe three. I never asked myself the question on the career side and I think that’s maybe why it lasted”says Louis Chedid.

His songs find a second youth with thealbum In black and white, on which he is simply accompanied by a pianist. “It’s a way of singing that is different because there is no intervention of a violin or a guitar. This allows you to sing and get closer to the mic and be in tremendous privacy“, explains the singer.

A life marked by the triumph of his son, the singer Matthieu Chedid, said Mr. He says he did not suffer from filial competition, but rather experienced it as “a boost“.
