The registrar of Périgueux who was sentenced for incitement to racial hatred on October 28 was dismissed from his functions, reveals France Bleu Périgord on Monday November 29. The disciplinary board of the Directorate of Judicial Services met on November 5 and the Minister of Justice issued an order attesting to this dismissal on November 25, the date of his conviction before the Brive court.

The communication service of the Ministry of Justice tells France Bleu Périgord that “the clerks are civil servants falling under a particular civil service statute” and that they take an oath: “I swear to perform my duties well and loyally and not to reveal or use anything that will come to my knowledge during their exercise. Clerks must perform their duties with loyalty, dignity, impartiality, integrity and probity. “

The 41-year-old former soldier was arrested at his workplace on July 27, 2021 and taken into custody for supremacist tweets “for a white European line of defense” published between February and July 2021. He wrote in particular “strongly remigration”, “France first, always white”, “better to be a fascist than a queer” or wishing that “the police use their weapons, despite the orders received and the legal framework and all this will stop”.

During the hearing which was held in front of the court of Brive the forty-something had refused to speak during his trial, as the law allows it. But he had explained during his preliminary hearings that it was “misunderstood humor”. He was sentenced to four months suspended prison sentence and a fine of 2,000 euros. He will also have to pay 1,500 euros to the Licra, civil party in this case and will have to follow a citizenship course within six months, at his expense.
