The prefect of Vienne relaxes certain restrictions on the use of water, in particular for washing his car

In a decree published Friday, October 21, the prefecture of Vienne lifts certain restrictions on the use of water, given the improvement observed in resources. But usages from the mains supply in drinking water stay at crisis level.

The washing stations will be able to reopen

For uses relating to swimming pools, car washing and cleaning of facades, roofs and sidewalks, the restrictions go to level 3, says heightened alert level.
> Vehicle washing: it is now authorized with high-pressure equipment and with a system equipped with a water recycling system for professionals, but it remains prohibited everywhere else.
> Private pools: filling remains prohibited, unless it is a leveling or a first filling.
> Cleaning of facades, roofs and sidewalks: it remains prohibited unless this cleaning is carried out by a community or a professional cleaning company.

Agricultural irrigation still restricted

The measures prohibiting irrigation between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. remain in force throughout the Vienne department (except the Charente and Sèvre Niortaise basins.

These relaxations apply from Monday, October 24 at 8 a.m.
