Le Parisien informed this Thursday, December 9 that Pierre Ménès is the target of a preliminary investigation opened on November 20 for sexual assault. The 58-year-old man was summoned and then taken into police custody.
The facts would have taken place at the Parc des Princes, during the match PSG – Nantes (match won by the club from the capital 3-1) counting for the 14th day of the French Ligue 1 championship. he was present as a spectator as usual, the former journalist of Canal + would have touched the chest of a hostess. But faced with the gathered elements, the Paris prosecutor’s office had decided, the same day, to open a preliminary investigation into the count of sexual assault.

Passing through Do not touch My TV on C8 to mention, Me Arash Derambarsh was questioned about the case involving his client Pierre Ménès. “Nothing happened,” he said. “Pierre Ménès was accompanied by three people during this match in the box (…) I have in my possession three certificates”. Faced with the questions of Cyril Hanouna, the lawyer had wanted to add some details by indicating “that there was no complaint filed” and “that it is the prosecution that has (had) been seized”. “In this case, if the prosecution persists, to smear my client, I will file a complaint, for slanderous denunciation against X to find out who has an interest in destabilizing my client”, he added. “There were inappropriate actions (…) we are far from sexual assault (…) we throw it in the pasture without justice being able to do its job calmly”.
At the end of November, Pierre Ménès had filed a complaint against X for slanderous denunciation to the public prosecutor of Paris.
