The Fnac Live in semi-digital edition Monday and Tuesday with Ed Sheeran, Cat Power, The Limiñanas and Sofiane Pamart

The last two summers, weighed down by the pandemic, have prevented Fnac Live, a free festival co-organized by the Paris city hall, from offering thousands of spectators a series of quality concerts in front of the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville. , like every year for ten years.

Fnac Live returns however, Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 December in hybrid mode, half-physical half-digital, for a promising tenth edition, with concerts planned at the Théâtre du Châtelet and at the town hall of Paris and others to follow by screens interposed.

The kickoff is given Monday evening with three concerts given in a row at the Théâtre du Châtelet: the American singer Cat Power, who could offer a foretaste of her next album of covers expected in January, the American soulman Curtis Harding who just published his splendid third album If Words Were Flowers, and the neo-classical French pianist, much sought after by rappers Sofiane Pamart, author of an enchanting solo piano album Planet gold.

An evening which is sold out but can be followed live on France Inter from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., in the program Very Good Trip by Michka Assayas.

Ed Sheeran in intimate digital concert Monday night

Another highlight is scheduled for Monday evening with an online concert by British star Ed Sheeran, filmed in September in the cozy lounges of the Hôtel de Ville (Paris). The opportunity to see the author of the essential Shape of You, who released his 5th album “=” this fall and will be at the Stade de France on July 29 and 30, 2022, playing some of his greatest hits in a solo and intimate version.

Preceded by two digital live sets from Iliona and Ussar, the evening can be followed from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on the site leclaireur.fnac.com

Tea Limiñanas, Lonepsi, Kungs and four other digital concerts on Tuesday evening

The festival continues on Tuesday, December 7 with no less than seven concerts captured in November under the ceilings of the Town Hall, to be followed from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on the leclaireur.fnac.com website.

On the menu: The Limiñanas, who mixed their psychedelic garage rock with techno loops from Laurent Garnier on a recent delightful album, but also the young French DJ and electronic producer Kungs, author of the summer hit Never going home. We can also discover the former drummer of Bertrand Belin Franky GoGo, as well as a gaggle of rappers, from the dreamer Lonepsi to Joysad, through the new heads 47TER, and the Brussels residents of Todiefor.
