For several weeks, Alain Souchon has been on the roads of France for the sake of his tour! The last time his audience saw him on stage, it was in the company of his sidekick Laurent Voulzy. But this time around, the 77-year-old singer faces his fans on his own. If Alain Souchon will plunge his aficionados into nostalgia to the rhythm of songs such as Bidon, Hello mom bobo, Jim’s ballad, When I will be knocked out, or Sentimental crowd, the star has experienced an unfortunate event.
His friend of more than 40 years, Laurent Voulzy had wanted, one day to offer him an animal but not just any. “One Sunday, he came to give me a donkey”, he confided to the Sunday Newspaper. But the meeting did not go as he hoped since he had ended up in the hospital. “When it was time to ride the animal, it started to kick, I waltzed in the air … Result, two broken ribs while I was on tour”, remembered to our colleagues the one who spent time in his country house in Blois (Loir-et-Cher).
During this interview, he also made other confidences. “I love taking my car and arriving in another world, with other landscapes, other smells, eating rillettes too”.
