Corinne Masiero likes to shine in countless registers. Thus, on April 5, 2023, her admirers will be able to find her at the cinema via the film “My Cat and I”, the great adventure of Rroû” by Guillaume Maidatchevsky. A “philosophical tale” in which she plays the role of Madeleine, a colorful character… And not always funny. In any case, the artist enjoyed collaborating with the young actress Capucine Sainson-Fabresse who conquered the crowds in “The Treasure of Little Nicolas” in 2021.
“I’ve played with children before, but not for as long or in such a big role for her. It hit right away,” analyzed Corinne Masiero to our colleagues from Tele-Leisure on March 17. The opportunity for her to reveal more about the organization of the filming: “The director came to my house in Roubaix and he told me what he wanted to film. He told me about the values he wanted to defend. I compared them with those I defend, then I wanted to see how he intended to work”.
Obviously, the latter was able to surprise her with his vision of work: “What I liked about him is that he’s an animal documentary filmmaker. They have a way of filming gestures, looks… that the others don’t have”. His young partner on the screen had the merit of dazzling him too: “Capucine is already a very seasoned, very talented actress. She knew the codes. She is a person very ahead of her time and her age, with whom it is very pleasant to talk. She has ideas on a lot of things, she’s a great person.” A nice statement all in all!

During the interview, Corinne Masiero agreed to lift the veil on a much more personal subject: her non-desire for a child. If she cherishes those who are part of her inner circle, she never wanted to taste the joys of motherhood. “I never had children. I suffered voluntary terminations of pregnancy”, explained the companion of Nicolas Grard. And she has no business meeting society’s expectations.
For them, all women have the right to proclaim without blinking: “I never wanted to have children and what’s the problem?'”, said Corinne Masiero: “I don’t want to impose the person I am, what I live on someone. It’s a huge responsibility. I don’t want anyone to be ashamed of being my descendants. I’ve already find it difficult to assume myself psychologically, it would be putting someone in danger and that I don’t want…”. Frank as usual, she also dropped with finesse to close the debate: “It’s funny, guys, we don’t often ask them that question.”
