Tamara Vrooman steps down as president of the Canada Infrastructure Bank

(Ottawa) Tamara Vrooman is stepping down as president of the Canada Infrastructure Bank.


Federal Infrastructure Minister Sean Fraser said the departure of Mr.me Vrooman, after three years in this position, is effective on Saturday.

BIC board member Jane Bird has been named interim chair until someone is appointed permanently.

Mme Vrooman became president of the Canada Infrastructure Bank in January 2021.

She is the CEO of the Vancouver Airport Authority.

In a statement Friday, Mr. Fraser thanked Mr.me Vrooman for his work on the board and wished him the best as he continues his role at Vancouver Airport.
