It was time for the evaluations for the 12 students still in the running for the 2022 promotion of the star Academy. This Tuesday, October 26, all passed the stressful singing and dancing tests to save their place. On the program, an interpretation of your choice by Do not judge me by Camille Lellouche or Obviously of France Gall, that of Caruso (in Italian of course) and a contemporary choreography on the track Because of you by Kelly Clarkson. If last week, the performances of the students were very disappointing, the teachers had good surprises this time. This did not prevent them from making nominations for the third bonus on October 29.
This week, four students are on the hot seat. Two will be eliminated during the prime. At the end of the evaluations, Michael Goldman, son of the legendary Jean-Jacques Goldman, gathered the promotion in the show to make his announcement: Cenzo, Julien, Stan and Ahcène are in danger. Although clear progress has been made, its level is still low at this stage. Cenzo was “a little below“expectations of teachers like Stan. Julien, already appointed last week and plagued by stress, forgot song lyrics, a “mistake hard to forgive” according to the director. Ahcène, meanwhile, “still a few too many gaps“to be sheltered.
The competition is therefore 100% male this year, to Julien’s chagrin. The candidate, already named last week and saved by his comrades, felt he was going to be named again. At the end of his passage in front of the teachers, Julien got angry, in the incomprehension of not succeeding at this point in managing the pressure and the stress of the evaluations. Fortunately for him, his great friend Enola, who had the heavy task of opening the ball for the exam, was able to comfort him.
