(Montreal) The Quebec Provincial Police Association (APPQ) and the government asked the Ministry of Labor to appoint a special conciliator on Wednesday evening.
“The conciliator will have the mandate to try to get the parties to agree on a new agreement in principle aimed at the renewal of the 2015-2022 employment contract to be presented as soon as possible to the members of the APPQ for approval,” indicated the APPQ in a press release.
The 5,700 SQ agents have been without an employment contract since March 2022.
