To kick off the year, a joy. A sparkling pleasure. A baroque and tangy pop song, which waddles galore like France Gall from the childhood era. A singer with a bit of Lio’s flair, who seems to sing nothing important, but as long as we listen beyond the Wurlitzer and nicely plucked guitars, this KCIDY describes the life that takes place: “There , on my skin / above the sink / silence and tenderness / on an age spot.” Lightness of tone, caress of the end of the rhymes, but implacable observations: “Loving yourself throughout the seasons, it sounds like an old song. » Thanks to the delicious and clever psych-pop arrangements, we are immersed in a sort of late 1960s fantasy. KCIDY is an astonishing flower child with fragrant and poisonous shoots, a Clarika of the new century, a French-style Klô who would have diverted the hits of all summers to make “something good” with them. It’s already her third album, but it’s not forbidden to discover her now. And to fall in love with it.
