Unveiled since the beginning of February, the trailer for the 48th Cesar ceremony had not caused more talk than that. However, a few hours before the start of the ceremony which takes place at the Olympia this Friday, February 24, here is that Jamel Debbouze and Léa Drucker are the subject of a huge controversy. The reason ? The fact that a panther appears in the promo clip.
Many twittos have challenged the companion of Mélissa Theuriau and the niece of Michel Drucker for having agreed to shoot with a trained animal. “Jamel Debbouze, Léa Drucker, I discover you alongside a panther in the #César2023 trailer. Do you know that @ParisZoopolis has filed a complaint against a trainer for the cinema for animal abuse? #FaunaEtFilms?”, ont lamented many Internet users, always with the same phrase repeated several times throughout the day.

Jamel Debbouze and Léa Drucker accomplices in animal abuse?
Dozens and dozens of tweets pointing the finger at the two comedians and reminding them of the latest petition launched by PAZ against Fauna and Films, “an animal captivity society that trains animals for film and advertising”as denounced “Paris Zoopolis Animals” on its website. In this video, we were able to see the famous animal trainer for the cinema, Pierre Cadéac, give “a punch of great violence to an eagle” explains the PAZ. Following this video, the association then filed a complaint for an act of abuse and launched a call for testimonies.
By discovering the trailer video of the 48th Cesar ceremony, the PAZ has once again expressed its disappointment in seeing two great French actors agree to shoot with a trained animal. Since the reviews, neither Jamel Debbouze nor Léa Drucker have spoken.
