The driver of the vehicle and his two Ontario companions suffered minor injuries, while the other driver was not injured, said Jean-Philippe Bibeau, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
The 23-year-old Ontarian was arrested for impaired driving before being released on recognizance, Sergeant Bibeau said.
The scene was appraised by a reconstructionist, while the investigation which is in progress risks leading to charges of impaired driving causing injury, it was added.
