On Wednesday January 10, the new Prime Minister made a trip with the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, to the Ermont police station (Val-d’Oise). Gabriel Attal makes order his priority. A choice appreciated by part of the political spectrum, particularly on the right.

Newly appointed to the post of Prime Minister, Gabriel Attal went to the Ermont police station (Val-d’Oise) accompanied by the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, on Wednesday January 10. The new head of government, who has never held a sovereign position, seems to want to emphasize security. “There is no security without our police officers. I cannot imagine a society without order and without rules,” he insists.

“It’s bad Marine Le Pen”

Former member of the Socialist Party (PS), Gabriel Attal makes order his priority. A choice which was appreciated by part of the political spectrum, particularly on the right. “We cannot complain about the fact that our proposals are taken up”reacted Pierre-Henri Dumont, Les Républicains (LR) deputy for Pas-de-Calais. “It’s bad Marine Le Pen”, conversely deplores Jean-Philippe Tanguy, National Rally (RN) deputy for the Somme. In addition, Gabriel Attal chose Emmanuel Moulin to head his ministerial cabinet, who worked for Nicolas Sarkozy and Bruno Le Maire.
