They are about 200, members of the union Les Avocats et notaires de l’Etat québécois (LANEQ), working for Revenu Québec.

The new three-year 2020-2023 agreement provides for salary increases of 2% annually, like what was granted to all union members in the public and parapublic sectors for the same years.

Revenu Québec adds that there is “improvement of working conditions, thus responding to labor issues”.

In a press release, the president and CEO of Revenu Québec, Christyne Tremblay, said she sees this renewed agreement as proof of “the importance we place on discussions with union partners”.

Revenu Québec has already reached an agreement with other employees who are members of the Syndicat de la fonction publique et parapublique du Québec (SFPQ).

However, those who are members of the Syndicate of Professionals of the Government of Quebec (SPGQ) have still not renewed their collective agreement. They are also beginning an evening and weekend strike.

“Revenu Québec is continuing its work with the objective of closing its negotiations for all of the unionized personnel of the organization,” indicates the organization.
