Republicans file complaint against Christian Estrosi for “identity theft”

The Les Républicains party filed a complaint on Thursday June 6 against the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, for “identity theft” And “file hijacking”France Bleu Azur learned from a LR press release.

Christian Estrosi, former member of the Les Républicains party and now a member of the presidential majority, is accused of having used files belonging to his former party to send invitations to Valérie Hayer’s meeting. The head of the Renaissance list for the European elections held a speech Thursday at the Jardin Albert 1er in Nice, the last gathering of the party before the elections on Sunday June 9.

An act “constituting indisputable bad faith”castigates the Republican press release: “This use, naturally without rights or titles, is a sign of anxiety in the home stretch but above all characterizes a deceptive practice by associating, despite us and against us, our party with the candidate of the presidential majority in the European elections”. The complaint was filed Thursday evening, confirms Eric Ciotti’s entourage to France Bleu Azur.
