Since 1975, the AFEC has been the specialist organization for vocational training.
With its training centers throughout France (particularly in work-study programs with its Talent School campuses), the AFEC trains approximately 3,000 trainees each year in New Aquitaine, including more than 500 in personal and health services/ social.
In order to meet the growing needs of the personal service sector, the AFEC, with the support of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, launched a recruitment campaign in October to prepare for the State diploma of Educational and Social Support ( AES). This training provided on the campuses of Pau, Bayonne and Bordeaux, begins on November 7, 2022 and guarantees a level 3 (BEP or CAP). Registration is done directly in the agency or via the website afec.fr. In 2021, the exam pass rate was 90% and 100% positive exits.
At the same time, the AFEC is also launching preparatory training for careers in personal services and care, real springboards for discovering careers in the health and social sector where the first gestures, language and professional postures are learned. These training courses are provided in Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Deux-Sèvres and Gironde and also start on November 7, 2022.
