In fact, only the regions of the North Shore, Abitibi, Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie will be exceptions to this norm, which will see more sun. For the rest, intermittent snow will accompany the clouds at midday, as announced by Environment Canada.
For their part, Charlevoix and Montmagny will see an alternation of sun and cloud, for the start of the day.
The wind chill will be strongly felt in all four corners of the province. It should oscillate around -15, especially in the Greater Montreal area, the Laurentians, the Capitale-Nationale, the Centre-du-Québec and the Mauricie. Others, such as Chaudière-Appalaches, should see it reach -20.
The more northern sectors of the province, including Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Sagunay – Lac-Saint-Jean, are on alert for the risk of frostbite.
Finally, in the Magdalen Islands, a sun-cloud alternation is forecast and a 30% chance of snow showers.
