To put an end to the controversy for good, Prince Charles reacted immediately. “This is fiction that does not deserve further comment.“, reacted his spokesperson in the columns of the Sun, adding that the remarks had been made “without a second thought” racist.

And the expert Ingrid Seward to react to this point: “I think Charles would be very irritated and annoyed by these kinds of accusations because he is anything but racist. If he really made that point I’m sure it was in a perfectly innocent way, because anyone would ask questions about the birth of a child and what the baby would look like.“.
