(Quebec) Liberal Party of Quebec (PLQ) MPs André Fortin and Madwa-Nika Cadet announce their support for party leadership candidate Charles Milliard.
This announcement made by press release Tuesday morning comes a week after a first member of the Liberal caucus, Virginie Dufour, announced her support for the former president of the Federation of Quebec Chambers of Commerce.
Three deputies therefore now support Charles Milliard who can boast, for the moment, of having the most support within the caucus.
For the moment, the MP for Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Désirée McGraw supports former federal minister Pablo Rodriguez and her colleague from Chomedey, Sona Lakhoyan Olivier, has lined up behind her colleague, the MP for Marguerite-Bourgeoys, Frédéric Beauchemin.
Among the candidates announced for the PLQ leadership race, former Montreal mayor Denis Coderre and tax lawyer from Matane Marc Bélanger do not yet have official support from a member of the caucus.
