A 47-year-old woman was stabbed to death in an apartment in Plateau-Mont-Royal, Montreal, on Sunday. After fleeing the police for several hours, his alleged attacker was finally arrested in the early evening.
The events occurred around 3:30 p.m. in an apartment on rue Le Jeune, near boulevard Saint-Joseph.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the victim outside the building. She was then injured in the upper body, but conscious. We don’t fear for our life.
As for the suspect, a 51-year-old man, he was no longer there. The police finally managed to locate him shortly after 6 p.m. in the borough of Saint-Laurent.
The scene was protected to allow investigators to do their job. The connection between the victim and the suspect has still not been confirmed.
