The Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention (DGCCRF) has decided to strike hard. Indeed, between the end of May and the beginning of June, the organization targeted, by an injunction, several influencers from the world of reality TV. The reason ? The DGCCRF mentions that the persons targeted were “paid by commercial partners to promote their products”. However, these same communications for the benefit of these brands did not mention their commercial intention according to the statements of the organization.
Simon Castaldi, Capucine Anav, Illan Castronovo, Gaetan Debled, Léa Montchicourt, or even Anthony Matéo, all have been sanctioned. The Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention has forced them to post a message on their social networks “punitive” informing the community of influencers of the alleged facts.

Anthony Matéo pinned down by the repression of fraud, his provocative tattoo!
Anthony Matéo, meanwhile, took a little longer to comply with the request of the DGCCRF. And took a week to post the “punitive” message. He is accused of not “indicate the commercial intent of its publications for advertising purposes” and give “the impression that a service of hyaluronic acid injections carried out by a beautician who does not have the quality of a doctor is legal when it is not”.
Like a rebel, the young man has just offered himself his very first tattoo and wished to wink at the DGCCRF for the occasion. Indeed, on a trip to Bali, the ex-reality TV candidate posted a video, this Saturday 10, in which he reveals the inscription written on his arm: “sponsored” accompanied by a hashtag. “I really do this for the public”, he quipped in the video. Not sure that it pleases the repression of fraud…
