A driver who was driving in the opposite direction on Highway 30 West collided with four other vehicles Thursday afternoon at kilometer 18, at Beauharnois.
The 30-year-old motorist was taken to a hospital for ultimately minor injuries after the collision caused around 3:45 p.m., said Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesperson, Stéphane Tremblay.
The other people involved in the crash also suffered minor injuries.
All westbound lanes had been closed shortly after 4 p.m. and for more than an hour between exit 22 and the next entrance.
A reckless driving investigation is ongoing, it said.
