A shooting left one dead and two injured Wednesday night in Orleans, east of Ottawa, Ont.
Police were alerted around 9 p.m. by 911 calls to gunshots heard near Tompkins Avenue and Tenth Line Road.
When the police arrived at the scene, they discovered the body of a lifeless man and two other people injured, one seriously.
A security perimeter has been erected to protect the crime scene for investigators, according to the police who recommend avoiding the area.
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) tweeted that the Homicide Unit has been deployed for the purposes of the investigation.
