An 80-minute exchange between Michelle Obama and host Oprah Winfrey, titled The Light We Carryfilmed during the tour of the former first lady for her book, will be broadcast on Netflix from April 25.
The broadcasting platform announced with a trailer the broadcast of this conversation. The two women had held this event in California on the occasion of the tour for the promotion of the book of Michelle Obama, The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times.
The special will be a “candid” moment between the two friends, during which the former first lady “shares personal family stories of her childhood and time in the White House, offers hard-earned insights into trust in self, fear and aging, and gives practical advice for living in modern times”.
Michelle Obama also opens up about her marriage to former US President Barack Obama, about menopause and, of course, the intent of her book.
