Olympe (The Voice) harassed for 3 years by a relentless fan: he ended up moving!

The former finalist The VoiceOlympe, was interviewed this week in Gala. The opportunity for the singer to look back on his career since he was revealed in the famous tele-hook show as well as on his private life and particularly on an incident with a fan who made him live through hell…

Author of a new album entitled Press Play (Talentcy Records), the famous contestant of season 2 of The Voice confides to having laid bare in this new opus: “My songs are about my life and everything I’ve been through since The Voice in 2013, fatphobia, the harassment I have been the victim of, I give myself up a lot.“This harassment, the singer knows it since his childhood, as he explained to our colleagues. When I read ‘You’re too fat, we have to hide you behind a piano’, it was a humiliation. At the time, I was not comfortable with my body and these attacks brought out wounds from school and college.” More recently, the native of Picardy was the victim of another kind of harassment and even found himself in an unfortunate affair with a disturbed fan. Victim of harassment for three years, the singer admits having ended up moving after having lodged a complaint. “She traveled from Orléans to Paris to pour out her hatred on me…“, he confided to Gala.

Today, Olympe has found serenity in the North of France, putting down his suitcases in a loft in Roubaix. He even married his darling Julien in 2016. A solid shoulder on which the former talent of Jenifer can rest. “He is a go-getter, he is not afraid of the eyes of others and lives his life as he sees fit. He helped me free myself and assume who I am.” A new confidence that the singer illustrates by his communication on social networks in particular. “When I posted a shirtless photo of myself, dozens of men thanked me because it freed them from being afraid to show themselves as they are. Ditto for homosexuality, I’m happy if I can help some people find the strength to talk to their parents about it (…) I’m just sharing my experience with sincerity“, acknowledged the singer-songwriter.
