This former soldier was notably sentenced for the murder of Maëlys to life imprisonment with a 22-year security sentence.

This transfer causes the “relief” prison staff, describes France Bleu Isère, after “almost five years of detention […] restless” Between “mobile phones received from outside” and “sex in the visiting room”. “We want to have some peace”explains Alain Chevallier, secretary general of the Ufap union at the Saint-Quentin-Fallavier penitentiary center.

The trade unionist denounces the conditions of transfer of the murderer of Maëlys and Corporal Arthur Noyer: “They left with three prison staff in a van where there were two detainees, accompanied by … no one! Sanitary desert around”, describes Alain Chevallier, believing that more precautions should have been taken.
