New Brunswick | A road trip leaves one dead and two injured

A 43-year-old man died on Saturday after crashing off the road in Salisbury, New Brunswick.

The driver and a second passenger were “taken to hospital with injuries deemed serious,” the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said in a statement on Sunday.

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to Fredericton Road at 5 a.m.

“The driver lost control of his vehicle and left the road, then ended his race in the woods”, thinks the RCMP.

RCMP specialists from the Police Dog Section, Remotely Piloted Aircraft System and Forensic Identification Section will conduct an investigation to determine the specific cause of the collision, in conjunction with the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office .

An autopsy will also be performed.
