A 100 m house2 and soon inside a room to rent. Sandrine Messin has just learned that her eldest son must leave their house in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, in Yvelines, to study at the other end of France. So there is a room that becomes available and that she would like to make profitable.
At least 450 euros per month
With this 11m piece2, she hopes to earn a monthly rent of at least 450 euros. “We earn our living well, but the basket increases for everyone, so I tell myself that it could be a solution“, explains the mother of the family. “To be able to rent the room, it must be 9 m2 minimum. Then, it must have a source of natural light, so a window, with ventilation, furniture, minimal equipment, so it’s the bed, storage, desk“, recalls Claire Chappet, co-founder of Be my nest Immobilier. Another condition: access to the bathroom and the kitchen must be provided.
